Transportation Development Credits Presenter: Michael Morris, NCTCOG Item Summary: The Regional Transportation Council (RTC) will be asked to approve the proposed method to advance the use of transportation development credits.
Congestion Management Process Update: Staff will request Regional Transportation Council (RTC) approval of the Congestion Management Process 2013 Update.
FY2014 and FY2015 Unified Planning Work Program: Regional Transportation Council (RTC) approval of the FY2014 and FY2015 Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) will be requested.
IH 35E Resolution from IH 635 to US 380 Regional Transportation Council (RTC) action to adopt a final resolution approving a funding strategy for IH 35E options will be requested.
Action on 2009 Job Access/Reverse Commute This item brings a conclusion to the ability of advancing Job Access/Reverse Commute projects as discussed at the Regional Transportation Council (RTC) workshop on June 13, 2013.
Enhanced Mobility for Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities Program: Designated Recipient Status and Funding Allocation Process Staff will request Regional Transportation Council (RTC) action to endorse the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART), Fort Worth Transportation Authority (The T), and the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) as designated recipients and approve a funding-allocation process for the new Enhanced Mobility for Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities Program in the Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington and Denton-Lewisville Urbanized Areas.
Legislative Update The Regional Transportation Council (RTC) will receive an update on State and federal legislative actions. The Texas Legislature’s regular session ended on May 27, 2013, and a full summary of transportation bills that were being tracked is included as Electronic Item 10. Transportation funding was added to the agenda for the 1st called Special Session, but the session expired before a bill addressing transportation funding could be finally approved. The Governor has also added transportation funding to the agenda for the 2nd called Special Session, which began on July 1, 2013. The US Congress convened January 3, 2013, and may also address transportation issues.
Regional Transportation Council Policy Supporting School Districts The Regional Transportation Council (RTC) will develop a policy which outlines transportation elements that overlap with school districts.
